Adekunle Gold, the renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter, hosted an exclusive dinner at Vici in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Thursday, 29 May 2026, to celebrate his new partnership with The Macallan, the world-famous single-malt Scotch whisky, as its Brand Ambassador in Nigeria. The invite-only event, limited to fifty guests, brought together some of Nigeria's most prominent figures from the creative and entertainment industries, including Simi Kosoko, Bovi, Shodey, Ladipoe, Femi Dapson, Dotun Kayode, Teniola Aladese, Ugo Mozie, Kaylah Oniwo, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, and Tomike Adeoye. The evening was a celebration of shared values: craftsmanship, excellence, and intentional creativity.

Guests arrived to the soothing sounds of a live four-piece string quartet, which set the ambiance for the night. A bespoke The Macallan welcome cocktail was served as attendees mingled. The event officially began with remarks from Daniel Atteh, The Macallan's Brand Ambassador and Educator, followed by a speech from Hammed Adebiyi, Senior Brand Manager for West & Central Africa at Edrington Portfolio.
