Guinness Hosts Epic Arsenal Finale in Lagos & Abuja

As the Official Beer of the Premier League and Official Global Partner of Arsenal, Guinness organized a grand finale MatchDay watch party last Sunday for the season's final match. After 22 long years, Arsenal Football Club finally became Premier League champions, securing a thrilling 2-1 victory.

Guinness MatchDay Series

Throughout the season, Guinness MatchDay brought the party to over 10 cities, including Awka, Port Harcourt, and Ibadan, uniting over 10,000 fans. For the grand finale, the event took place at Guinness HQ in Lagos and in Abuja, delivering an electrifying atmosphere.

Over 500 fans across both cities experienced pure stadium energy, complete with heavy banter, palpable tension, and ice-cold Guinness. Free, perfectly poured Guinness flowed nonstop alongside premium music from kickoff to the final whistle.

Celebration and Afterparty

When the referee confirmed the 2-1 victory, chaos erupted. Strangers hugged, grown men cried, and the celebration took over. Guinness then hosted a massive, pulsating afterparty to celebrate Arsenal's return to the top.

At the VIP section, BBNaija stars Koyin, Bella, and Prince were present, while Dede brought energy to the Abuja party.

Fan Winners

Beyond the pitch, fans were big winners through the Guinness Predict and Win challenge, which produced 15 winners who correctly predicted the exact 2-1 scoreline. Each winner received a Guinness MatchDay jersey and a full week's supply of Guinness Stout.

The night was legendary. Arsenal reclaimed their trophy, and Guinness, as the Official Partner of Arsenal, proved how to throw a football party for the culture. The 22-year drought is over, the season is complete, and celebrations continue.
