Pulse Creator Collective Paint & Sip for Nigerian Creators

The second edition of Pulse Influence Room, hosted by the Pulse Creator Collective, took place on June 21st, offering Nigerian creators a relaxed Paint & Sip experience that blended networking, creativity, and wellness. The event, supported by BYD Lagos, Dr Teal's, Inverroche, and Perfect Trust Cosmetics, attracted over 400 community members, marking rapid growth since the collective's launch in March.

Community Growth and Vision

Wumi Tuase-Fosudo, Creator Lead at Pulse Nigeria, welcomed guests and shared the vision behind the Pulse Creator Collective. She noted that the community has already connected hundreds of creators through screenings, brand campaigns, and community events. Tuase-Fosudo announced plans to open a studio for members, providing production and post-production support. "Our vision is simple," she said. "To make Pulse Creator Collective the most valuable community for creators in Nigeria, not just for networking, but for real opportunities."

BYD Vehicle Showcase and Paint & Sip

One highlight was an exclusive tour of BYD's latest luxury electric vehicle, allowing creators to explore its premium features, technology, and comfort. Many took photos and created content around the experience. The main Paint & Sip session, with cocktails courtesy of Inverroche, let creators express themselves on canvas in a relaxed atmosphere that encouraged collaboration and genuine community building.

Wellness and Brand Partnerships

Vivienne Odofin-Daniel, Strategy Manager at Dr Teal's, emphasized the importance of self-care for creators. "Being a creator is demanding, and even more so being a creator in Lagos. It's important to intentionally make time to slow down, recharge and prioritise your wellbeing because you can't create your best work when you're running on empty," she said. Throughout the event, creators enjoyed relaxing massage sessions courtesy of Dr Teal's and received complimentary gift bags with products from Dr Teal's and Perfect Trust Cosmetics.

Attendees and Future Plans

The event drew notable creators across lifestyle, entertainment, food, fashion, and beauty, including Elozonam, Mike Afolarin, Chioma Mmeje, Adeola Soge, Lade Ibikunle, Larry Hector, Grace Gigi, Tai The Foodie, and many others. The Pulse Creator Collective continues to strengthen its mission of building a thriving ecosystem where Nigerian creators can connect, learn, collaborate, and unlock meaningful opportunities. Creators can register via the Pulse Creator Collective platform for future events, partnerships, workshops, and exclusive opportunities.
