The third edition of Search AfriCon, Africa's premier digital marketing conference, concluded successfully at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos. The event brought together renowned digital experts, content creators, social media managers, paid media specialists, agency leaders, and founders for a day of expert-led sessions, practical workshops, and high-value networking. Over 250 attendees from across Africa and beyond participated.
Founder's Vision
Ebere Cecilia Jonathan, founder of Search AfriCon, expressed delight at the conference's success. She emphasized the importance of equipping African professionals with tools and strategies to enhance their craft and positively impact African businesses. 'It's about optimizing your brand's visibility from your website to social media, connecting everything so people can easily see, know, and trust you enough to invest in what you do,' she said. 'In 2026, we shouldn't need to send DMs asking for prices when one can simply click a button and pay. The goal is also to ensure digital marketers are taken seriously for their contributions to businesses.'
Attendee Experience
Many attendees praised the conference for its engaging nature, which facilitated networking with top industry professionals. Kawysara Sally, an attendee, noted, 'I was particularly intrigued by the opportunity to network with professionals I usually meet on LinkedIn and other virtual platforms. The one-on-one engagements made it both engaging and rewarding.'
Next Edition in Nairobi
Search AfriCon has announced that its next session will be held in Nairobi, Kenya on November 7. Interested partners are urged to leverage the platform to connect with the African digital marketing space. The conference aims to provide a periodic interactive forum where top digital marketing players network with business owners to teach proven digital techniques for business enhancement.
Founded by Ebere Cecilia Jonathan, Search AfriCon debuted in 2024 with enthusiasm and approval from global digital experts.
