Gospel music minister and associate senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Toluwani Odukoya-Ijogun, is set to host her inaugural live worship concert titled 'Raising an Altar of Thanksgiving' on Sunday, May 31, at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos. The event, which begins at 6pm, is more than a concert; it is a live worship recording and a night wholly dedicated to giving God the praise He alone deserves.
A Milestone in Faith and Ministry
Conceived from a place of deep spiritual conviction, The Worship Project draws its inspiration from Psalm 95:6: 'Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.' For Odukoya-Ijogun, this concert represents a milestone moment, both in her personal faith journey and in her ministry. She describes the event as carrying one singular focus: to exalt the name of the Lord and create a living record of thanksgiving to God.
According to her, 'At a time when the world grows louder with distraction and noise, The Worship Project is a deliberate return to the altar. It is a gathering for believers who understand that true worship is never accidental; it is intentional.'
A Declaration of Faith
As the associate senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church and a worship artiste whose ministry is anchored in the pursuit of God's presence, Odukoya-Ijogun's first public worship project comes as a declaration of faith. She emphasizes that the best thing the people of God can do in this season is to stop, turn, and say thank you.
'Every song, every prayer, and every voice lifted in that room will form part of a permanent offering: a testimony of praise that will outlast the evening itself. What is recorded that night will not simply be an album. It will be a declaration — proof that in this season, the people of God chose to stop, turn, and say thank Him,' she said.
