The 11th season of Big Brother Naija officially premiered on Sunday night, welcoming 24 housemates—12 females and 12 males—into Biggie’s House. The new season, themed “Show ya sef,” tasks contestants with navigating challenges, nominations, and evictions over the coming weeks for a grand prize of ₦160 million and the coveted winner's title.
Meet the Housemates
The diverse group hails from various states across Nigeria, each bringing unique personalities and strategies. Among them is Bells, a 22-year-old student from Akwa-Ibom who considers herself a schemer and highly calculative. Kamsy, a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Imo, admits she is an emotional person but with tough skin. Sheba, a 32-year-old broadcaster from Plateau, is skilled in voice imitation and animal sounds. Flora, a 30-year-old entrepreneur from Delta, promises drama, intelligence, and entertainment.
Other notable contestants include Goddessa, a 32-year-old musician from Abia; Oyin, a 22-year-old sales entrepreneur from Ogun; and Bluethopia, a 22-year-old photographer from Adamawa. Nomy, a 27-year-old fashion entrepreneur from Anambra, describes herself as highly intuitive. Neche, a 25-year-old lawyer from Anambra, is a longtime BBNaija fan now experiencing the show from inside. Temi Nkem, a 21-year-old student from Lagos, calls herself bold and vibrant. Abi, a 25-year-old model and chef from Osun, speaks Italian fluently and is married.
Mercedes, a 28-year-old performance artist from Delta, promises authenticity and vulnerability. Araga, a 29-year-old fashion model from Ogun, is calm and observant. Barry, a 25-year-old fashion and graphic designer from Rivers, admits he is a lover boy but stubborn when hurt. Tram, a 24-year-old author from Lagos, is engaged and believes the world needs to experience his gem-like personality. Gerard, a 23-year-old actor from Kogi, considers himself a lone wolf. Ricky, a 33-year-old writer and filmmaker from Rivers, described himself as “The annoying entertainer.” According to Ricky, he is highly opinionated and a perfect fit for the show.
Chimsom Chuka, a 26-year-old pharmacist from Anambra, is in a relationship and ready to have fun. Aikou, a 25-year-old backend developer from Abuja, pairs technical expertise with writing. Cassi, a 26-year-old entrepreneur from Abia, draws and paints. Martins, a 29-year-old creative director from Kogi, claims mind-reading as his hidden talent. Sultex, a 24-year-old professional dancer from Lagos, never sugarcoats his opinions. Keivo, a 27-year-old front-end developer from Benue, holds a Master’s in Disaster Risk Management. Yusuf, a 27-year-old actor from Kogi, enjoys boxing and writing.
