The campaign, which concluded recently, formed a crucial part of the company's broader Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability framework. Throughout October, Beta Glass focused on three key pillars: raising awareness about breast cancer, encouraging early detection methods, and strengthening support systems for women's health challenges.

Alexander Gendis, Chief Executive Officer of Beta Glass Plc, emphasized the company's commitment during the campaign closure. "Our sustainability journey begins with our employees, our communities and the lives we touch every day," Gendis stated. "Our From Green to Pink campaign puts the spotlight on breast cancer awareness, early detection, and access to care because timely action can save lives."

The company implemented several concrete measures to support its awareness campaign. Internally, Beta Glass sponsored free breast cancer screenings for all female employees through its Health Maintenance Organisation network. This proactive approach to healthcare demonstrated the company's dedication to employee wellness and preventive care.

Externally, the company organized a significant awareness walk that saw Beta Glass employees marching from their Head Office in Victoria Island to the Lagos Creek at Ikoyi. The event served as a visible demonstration of the company's commitment to the cause while engaging the broader community in important conversations about women's health.

The campaign notably highlighted the critical connection between environmental conditions and diseases like breast cancer. This approach aligns with research from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, which indicates that exposure to environmental pollutants may increase breast cancer risk.
