Dr. Olayiwola Ogunpaimo, President of the group, and Secretary Fatai Egunleti highlighted that while Ogun State has been recognized as a center of industry and innovation since its creation in 1976, the Ogun West zone has never produced a governor. They described this situation as a persistent imbalance that requires correction through the democratic process.
