A prominent Nigerian cleric has made startling revelations about the political landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections, forecasting a significant shift in alliances and international interference.
International Coalition Against Tinubu
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Lagos, has alleged that a powerful coalition is forming to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the next presidential poll. According to a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, and obtained by journalists, the plan involves both foreign and domestic political heavyweights.
The cleric specifically named the United States, the African Union, and the European Union as key international actors in this alleged scheme. On the local front, he mentioned former military leader General Theophilus Danjuma, ex-Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar, and former President Olusegun Obasanjo as being part of the move.
Atiku To Step Down For Jonathan
The most explosive part of Primate Ayodele's prophecy concerns the fate of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. The cleric claims that these powerful forces will compel Atiku to step aside from the presidential race in favour of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
"I see that the AU, UK, USA, EU and some local actors like TY Danjuma, Abubakar Abdulsalam, Obasanjo, will ask Atiku to step down for Jonathan ahead of the 2027 presidential election, even in the coalition," Ayodele stated.
He further revealed that Jonathan would be brought into the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition as a one-term alternative to President Tinubu. According to the prophecy, the coalition will ensure Jonathan gets the ticket to contest against the incumbent in 2027.
Secret Meetings And Trump's Opposition
Primate Ayodele disclosed that planning for this political realignment began in late December, and he warned that President Tinubu is unaware of the plot being orchestrated against him. "The meeting started late December, but Tinubu doesn't know what they are planning against him," the cleric said.
Furthermore, the preacher reiterated his earlier prophecy about former US President Donald Trump becoming a major obstacle for Tinubu's administration. He claimed Trump's wish is to see Tinubu removed from office, and that the international community will play a significant role in Nigeria's next election.
"As I said, the US will be Tinubu's greatest opposition. Trump's wish is to see Tinubu out of the seat, except that the president makes a very bold political move. The international community will be involved in our election, and we have to be careful about it," Ayodele cautioned.
The cleric described the planned move as difficult but confirmed that arrangements are already underway. These revelations come amid growing political realignments and speculation about potential candidates for the 2027 presidential election, setting the stage for what could be one of Nigeria's most contentious electoral battles.
