"We have made a decision. Our decision is for the good of Rivers State," Fubara declared. He explained that the move was a direct response to the federal protection his government received from President Tinubu, framing the upcoming electoral support as a reciprocal "thank-you gesture".
Capacity to Deliver Votes Across 23 LGAs
Fubara expressed strong confidence in his political machinery's ability to deliver results. He asserted that his administration possesses "the capacity and all it takes" to return President Tinubu to Aso Rock Villa. To bolster this claim, the governor provided a fresh update, revealing that 70% support for Tinubu's re-election bid has already been secured across all 23 local government areas of Rivers State.
