A prominent grassroots media organisation has thrown its weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing full confidence in his leadership and pledging to champion his administration's policies across Nigeria.
Vote of Confidence and National Summit
The Tinubu Media Force (TMF) made this declaration during a major grassroots media briefing held in Abuja on 20 December 2025. The group's National Coordinator, Mr. Gbenga Abiola, announced the organisation's unwavering support, framing it as a crucial step for nation-building through credible community-focused media.
Abiola emphasised that people at the grassroots level deserve access to reliable information to foster national unity and progress. The significant summit attracted over 1,000 grassroots media communicators and community-based media practitioners from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Mission to Promote Agenda and Combat False Narratives
"We have absolute confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and in the direction he is taking Nigeria. Our mission is to take the Renewed Hope message to every corner of the country," Abiola stated firmly.
He outlined the group's commitment to intensifying strategic communication efforts. A core part of their mission is to actively counter misinformation and false narratives that could erode public trust in the government. "We are dedicated to countering fake news and fake posts that seek to undermine the progress of our great nation. We will work tirelessly to ensure that the President’s vision for a better Nigeria is realised," he added.
The event featured strategic discussions and interactive sessions designed to equip media practitioners with enhanced skills for informed public discourse.
