The Bauchi State Coordinator of the Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum (CNNPF), Ayuba Dogara HSA, has stated that the vision and leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have been pivotal in bringing a sense of stability to Nigeria. He made this declaration on Saturday, December 27, 2025, in Bauchi.
Praise for Presidential Leadership and National Peace
Dogara asserted that the relative peace currently experienced across the nation is a direct result of the President's dedicated efforts. He emphasized that Tinubu's unwavering commitment to fostering unity and driving national prosperity should earn him support from every region and segment of the country.
The coordinator's remarks were delivered during a significant event: the distribution of 1,000 bags of 25kg rice. This donation was made by the Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and was channeled through the Renewed Hope Initiative to assist Christian communities and other vulnerable groups in Bauchi State.
Grassroots Support and Call for Continuity
According to Dogara, the food items are intended to be shared among identified vulnerable Christian groups across all 20 local government areas of Bauchi State. He described the gesture as a crucial effort to cushion the severe economic hardships faced by these citizens.
Adding his voice, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bogoro Local Government Area, Istifanu Manasseh, commended the current administration for prioritizing the needs of Christians. "If anyone remembers you at the point of your need, that person is a person to be held closer," Manasseh stated. "The President has carried us along, he remembers us always and knows our importance."
Manasseh went further to make a political appeal, noting the administration's inclusive approach. "The government is ours, right from the inception, he works with our own son (Yakubu Dogara) and we urge our supporters and other people to key into the 2027 project because our belief is that if the President is not returned, there won't be continuity," he added.
Beneficiaries Express Gratitude to the First Lady
Speaking on behalf of the groups receiving the aid, Baigama Tandu from Miri Ward in Bauchi Local Government Area expressed profound gratitude to the First Lady. She assured that the rice would reach the intended beneficiaries at the grassroots level.
"We shall not sell it and will ensure that the rice is given to the targeted groups," Tandu promised. "We pray for the Wife of the President, Remi Tinubu, to live long in good health for remembering us in her initiative and we are grateful for this."
The event highlights the intersection of governance, welfare programs, and political endorsement, showcasing grassroots appreciation for federal initiatives aimed at alleviating economic strain.
