City Boy Movement Distributes Ramadan and Lent Palliatives to Over 111,000 Households

The City Boy Movement (CBM) has initiated a nationwide distribution of Ramadan and Lent palliatives, targeting more than 100,000 households across Nigeria. This effort aims to provide essential support to families during the fasting seasons, with a focus on vulnerable groups.

Nationwide Distribution and Allocation Details

In a statement released on Thursday, the movement's management announced that food items will be shared across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Specifically, 3,000 food packs have been allocated to each state and the FCT, resulting in a total of 111,000 beneficiary households. Each food pack contains essential items designed to sustain an average household for approximately seven days, easing the burden on those observing Ramadan and Lent.

Coordination and Transparency Measures

The distribution exercise officially commenced on 20 February 2026 and is being coordinated by appointed State Directors nationwide. This structured approach is intended to ensure transparency, accountability, and timely delivery of the relief materials to the intended beneficiaries. The movement emphasized that this palliative programme aligns with its broader commitment to compassion, structured leadership, and community-centred support, complementing ongoing efforts to mitigate economic pressures faced by many households during the fasting season.

This initiative reflects the City Boy Movement's dedication to providing tangible assistance during critical periods, fostering a sense of solidarity and care within communities across Nigeria.
