According to official reports, the suspect, identified as 28-year-old George Ikpe, was arrested on April 3rd by operatives of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Police Division. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect gained unauthorized access to the company's premises, which is located along the Murtala Muhammed International Airport axis. Police authorities confirmed that the suspect made away with several critical pieces of equipment during the unauthorized entry.

Further investigation led to the recovery of the stolen CPUs based on disclosures made by the suspect during interrogation. However, authorities confirmed that the high-end printer had already been sold prior to the suspect's arrest, complicating recovery efforts for that particular item.
During questioning, the suspect reportedly stated that he committed the crime as an act of revenge following the termination of his employment with the company. This motive suggests the theft was premeditated and specifically targeted against his former employer.
