Police Arrest 29-Year-Old Man, Recover Stolen Goods in Enugu Hideouts Raid
In a significant crackdown on criminal activities, the Enugu State Police Command has arrested a 29-year-old man, Francisco Olugba, during a targeted raid on hideouts in the state. The operation, which took place in the New Artisan area, led to the recovery of various exhibits, including suspected Cannabis sativa, bags of clothes believed to be stolen from victims, 11 SIM cards from different network providers, a pair of scissors, and other items.

According to a statement issued by the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Daniel Ndukwe, the raid was part of proactive policing strategies aimed at combating crime. Operatives not only arrested Olugba but also dismantled drug peddling and consumption hubs in the area. This action disrupted related criminal activities and involved the destruction of makeshift structures, commonly referred to as "bunks," which were used for illicit purposes.
Ndukwe emphasized that investigations are ongoing to apprehend other members of the criminal network and uncover the full extent of their operations. The police are working diligently to ensure that all individuals involved in these illegal activities are brought to justice.
