The incident unfolded last Wednesday, April 8, when Ayers contacted the airline, claiming she had information about her ex-boyfriend planning to board a flight with a bomb. Law enforcement swiftly responded, intercepting the 34-year-old man, who was visiting from Indiana, and diverting traffic away from the airport as a precaution. His rental car was cordoned off and thoroughly searched by a bomb squad, though no explosives were found, leading to his eventual release.
