Sokoto Governor Condemns Kebbi School Abduction
Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, has expressed profound shock and condemnation following the disturbing abduction of 25 female students from Government Girls Comprehensive School in Maga, located within Danko-Wasagu Local Council of Kebbi State.
The tragic incident occurred on Sunday night when armed gunmen stormed the educational institution, forcibly taking the young female students hostage. Governor Aliyu, who is currently in Saudi Arabia performing the lesser hajj, immediately responded to what he described as an unfortunate and inhuman act.

From his spiritual journey in Mecca, Governor Aliyu voiced his deep concern for the abducted students. "It is sad and heart-touching when innocent people, especially female students, are abducted by criminals," the governor stated emotionally.
He offered special prayers for the protection and safe return of the victims, appealing to Almighty Allah to safeguard the young girls' dignity and ensure their unharmed reunion with their families and loved ones.
