Man searches for Kwara church attack livestreamer

A Nigerian man has shared an emotional account of his attempt to contact the individual who recorded the viral livestream during the brutal attack on a church in Kwara State, revealing a heartbreaking discovery about the fate of the recorder.

The Search for the Livestreamer

The man explained that he had been trying to reach the person behind the recording that captured the moment armed bandits stormed the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, Kwara state. The livestream, which occurred on November 18, showed the chaos as attackers descended upon the church service, killing and abducting several members.

In a video shared by X user ChuksEricE, the concerned Nigerian narrated how he examined the final moments of the recording and made a crucial observation. "Check the last one second of that incident," he stated. "We noticed the bandit picking up the phone. So he was probably the one who deleted that live stream."

The Disturbing Discovery

The man revealed that he had sent a message to the Facebook account of the livestreamer, identified as Dare Daniel, hoping to establish contact and check on his wellbeing. However, what he discovered shortly after sending the message left him deeply worried.

"Earlier today, I was very busy. I wanted to just share the video," he explained. "I messaged him, you know, just to try to get across to him. But now the account is disabled."

He noted that the account became unavailable shortly after his message, adding that repeated attempts to access the profile proved futile. "Shortly after I sent a message to the account, I found out that the account has been deleted. If I click on it, you will see it's no longer available, it's not loading."

Nigerians React to the Tragedy

The emotional revelation has sparked widespread concern among Nigerians, with many expressing worry about the safety of the livestreamer and other victims.

One social media user named Aladin commented: "This whole situation is scary. I'm honestly worried, especially about the person who recorded the livestream. I just hope he's okay."

Another user, K80, offered practical advice: "If anyone knows the guy pls get him out of that town and destroy all ID belonging to him or that carries his name. Change phone number, get a new hair style and possibly move to Ghana. He shouldn't trust anyone anymore including friends."

The man who shared the video emphasized that the only reason he still had access to the livestream was because it had been saved in his laptop cache while he was in class. He concluded with a prayer for the safe return of all victims, stating: "We continue to pray for him and for his safe return if he's still alive and all the other victims."
