- Inspector Samuel Ezekiel, who was attached to the Nganzai Division.
- Inspector Sanusi Mohammed of the 58 Police Mobile Force (PMF) in Lafia, on special duty at the location.
- Police Constable Bitrus Luka, a member of the crack squad based in Maiduguri.
- Police Constable Shaibu Bukar, also from the crack squad in Maiduguri.
According to ASP Kenneth Daso, the spokesperson for the Borno State Police Command, the terrorists employed sophisticated weaponry, including Rocket-Propelled Grenades (RPGs), during the assault. This resulted in significant damage to a section of the police station and partially burned an unserviceable Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) parked on the premises.

Burial Ceremony and Honoring the Fallen

The burials took place at two locations: the Kawar Maila Burial Ground and the Maximum Prison Burial Ground in Maiduguri.
