5 Powerful People Behind Nigeria's Terrorism, Primate Ayodele Warns Tinubu
5 Powerful People Behind Nigeria's Terrorism - Cleric

In a startling revelation that has sent shockwaves across Nigeria, prominent cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele has identified five powerful individuals as the masterminds behind the escalating terrorism and kidnapping crisis gripping the nation.

Prophetic Warning to President Tinubu

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church delivered this critical intelligence to President Bola Tinubu through his latest prophetic message. The cleric, speaking through his media aide Osho Oluwatodin, emphasized that these five influential figures must be identified and neutralized for Nigeria to overcome its security challenges.

Primate Ayodele's statement contained a dire warning: "Five people are involved in this kidnapping matter that the government must try to identify and take out of the way; otherwise, the nation will continue to be at the mercy of terrorism." He stressed that these individuals show no signs of slowing down their destructive activities.

Strong Opposition to Terrorist Negotiations

The spiritual leader issued a firm caution against any form of negotiation with terrorists, regardless of the mounting challenges. He specifically called on President Tinubu to rein in prominent Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi and other voices advocating for dialogue with bandits.

Ayodele characterized such negotiation efforts as "an encouragement to bandits" that would only lead to increased terrorism across the country. He warned that the president has everything to lose if insecurity continues unchecked and could face political consequences if the situation isn't properly addressed.

Nationwide Security Emergency Declared

This revelation comes amid President Tinubu's declaration of a nationwide security emergency following a devastating wave of attacks. The security crisis has seen:

  • 300 pupils and 15 teachers kidnapped from St. Mary's School in Agwara local government area of Niger State
  • Multiple student abductions in Kebbi State
  • Church worshippers taken hostage in Kwara State

While some abductees from Kwara and Kebbi states have regained freedom, 315 students and teachers from St. Mary's School remain in captivity, highlighting the severity of the security situation.

In response to the crisis, President Tinubu has authorized substantial security force expansion, directing additional recruitment into the armed forces. The police force alone is expected to recruit 20,000 additional personnel to bolster national security efforts.

The federal government has also denied rumors about nationwide school closures, with the Ministry of Education urging citizens to rely only on official communications from authorized government sources.
