Final Screening Camp Details

The screening camp was meticulously organised by the Cross River State Sports Commission in partnership with the Niger Delta Games Liaison Committee. It took place at the renowned U.J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar, spanning from January 21 to January 23. This strategic location provided an ideal environment for assessing the athletes' skills and readiness for the Games, which are scheduled to be held in Edo State in 2026.

Prior to the screening exercise, Hon. Etta Lawrence, Chairman of the Cross River State Sports Commission, addressed the athletes, offering reassurance about the camp's structure and welfare provisions. He emphasised that the selection process would be rigorous, with only the top performers earning a spot on the final team.
