This partnership is set to commence with the league's 2026 season tip-off on Friday, March 27, at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria, South Africa.
Comprehensive Apparel Supply and Fan Engagement
Under this agreement, Puma will provide a wide range of official apparel for the BAL, including game uniforms, warm-up gear, practice wear, and accessories for all teams, referees, and participants in the league's social impact and player programming initiatives. The fanwear, designed to reflect the vibrant energy, diversity, and creativity of African basketball culture, will be available through multiple channels this season.
Fans can purchase these items at BAL arenas, the BAL's e-commerce store, Puma's e-commerce store, and at three NBA Stores and two Puma stores located in South Africa. Additionally, the organizers have confirmed that ticket purchasers will receive free access to the BAL Fan Zone at each arena, enhancing the overall spectator experience.
Statements from Leadership
