N Effect Mode Limited and Balmoral Promotions have reaffirmed their dedication to advancing Nigerian boxing and creating international opportunities for local athletes. The talent management and sports promotion companies made this commitment during the formal presentation of World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa championship belts to Nigerian boxers in Lagos.
Champions Honoured
The event recognised three Nigerian champions: Godday “Zodsolo” Appah, who won the WBO Africa Cruiserweight title by defeating Ezra Arenyeka; Basit Adebayo, honoured as WBO Africa Lightweight Champion; and Taiwo Agbaje, who received his belt as WBO Africa Featherweight Champion.
The companies noted that the belt presentation highlights the growing prominence of Nigerian boxing and the collaborative efforts of promoters, managers, and industry stakeholders to create pathways for local talent to excel on continental and global stages.
