Galatasaray has reportedly received a €120 million offer from an unidentified Saudi Arabian club for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, according to Turkish transfer insider Serhan Türk. The Turkish champions are also considering a separate €120 million proposal from a European club, though neither bid has been accepted.
Osimhen's Value and Contract Plans
Club president Dursun Özbek values Osimhen at €150 million and has no intention of selling the Nigerian international. Instead, Galatasaray is preparing a new long-term contract that would keep Osimhen at the club until 2029, along with a significantly improved salary package. The club also plans to hand Osimhen the captain's armband following the expected departure of Mauro Icardi.
This development follows previous reports linking Atlético Madrid with a €120 million bid for Osimhen, while another unnamed European club was said to have made a verbal offer of €125 million. However, Galatasaray remains firm in its desire to retain the striker.
Osimhen's Impact at Galatasaray
Osimhen has been instrumental in Galatasaray's success, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 33 matches across all competitions during the current season. His contributions helped the Turkish giants successfully defend their Süper Lig title, cementing his status as a key player.
The 26-year-old forward's performances have attracted interest from top clubs across Europe and the Middle East, but Galatasaray's management appears committed to building the team around him for the foreseeable future.
