A young man who recently purchased a 6kVA solar inverter with a 16kWh battery and multiple solar panels has gone viral online. He explained that his neighborhood suffers from very poor electricity supply, often receiving only one minute of power per day. Determined to solve the problem, he invested in a complete solar system and shared the total cost he incurred.

Man Buys 6kVA Solar Inverter, 16kWh Battery to Combat Power Outage

The individual took to social media to describe the challenges he faces in his area. Due to his line of work as a creative professional, he identified three main non-negotiables: constant internet supply, top-notch devices, and constant electricity. While he had conquered the first two, the electricity issue persisted. He noted that in two weeks, he would have light for only one hour, spread across one minute per day.

To end the struggle, he purchased 12 590W Jinko solar panels, a 16kWh battery, and a 6kVA inverter. In a TikTok video, he said: "They say you can never get constant electricity in Nigeria, so I took matters into my hands." He later revealed the exact cost in a YouTube video, stating at the 8:51 mark: "It was 4.9 million approximately that fitted this solar system to me."
