Gidillo Digital Platform Aims to Revolutionize Nigeria's Real Estate Sector
Gidillo Platform to Transform Nigeria's Real Estate Market

A new digital-first real estate platform, Gidillo, has entered Nigeria's property market with a commitment to resolving persistent issues such as unreliable listings, lack of transparency, and inefficient property management processes. Founded by Seyi Boroffice, Joy Boroffice, and Daniel Olagunju, the platform is designed as an all-in-one marketplace that connects landlords, tenants, and property managers through verified digital solutions.

Launch in Abuja

Speaking during the launch in Abuja, the founders emphasized that the initiative was created to address longstanding challenges in Nigeria's real estate ecosystem by leveraging technology, fostering trust, and ensuring seamless service delivery. Seyi Boroffice noted that the Nigerian property market has operated with fragmented systems for too long, exposing users to fraudulent listings, hidden charges, and unnecessary stress.

“We built Gidillo to solve real problems faced daily by landlords, tenants, and property managers. Our goal is to make property transactions transparent, secure, and stress-free for everyone,” he said.

Verification Process

Boroffice explained that every property listed on the platform undergoes a rigorous verification process aimed at improving trust and reducing fraudulent practices within the sector. He further noted that the company's vision extends beyond property listings to creating a technology-driven ecosystem that supports leasing, property sales, land acquisition, and construction services.

“Our ambition is to redefine how Nigerians interact with real estate. We are leveraging technology to create efficiency, convenience, and transparency across the entire value chain,” he added.

Simplifying Property Lifecycle

Joy Boroffice also spoke, stating that the platform was intentionally designed to simplify the entire property lifecycle, from property search to rent collection and management. “We understand the frustrations many Nigerians face when trying to rent or manage properties. Gidillo brings everything together in one digital platform where users can easily discover verified properties, manage tenants, and monitor transactions seamlessly,” she said.

She added that the platform's integrated wallet feature would help reduce dependence on cash transactions while improving accountability and record-keeping for both landlords and tenants.

Pricing Plans

Daniel Olagunju disclosed that Gidillo currently offers flexible introductory pricing plans. These include a free Standard plan for landlords managing up to six properties, a Silver plan costing N5,000 annually, and a Gold plan priced at N10,000 annually for large-scale operators.

The founders confirmed that the platform is accessible through its official website, Gidillo, as well as on Android devices via the Google Play Store. Headquartered in Abuja, Gidillo aims to become a leading technology-driven real estate solution in Nigeria by improving transparency, efficiency, and accessibility within the industry.
