A Nigerian lady, known on X as Ms Petite, has inspired many after revealing she transformed her academic struggles into a remarkable success story. She initially graduated with a third class degree in chemistry after accumulating 12 carryovers in her final year, but later pursued a second degree in nursing and earned a first class honours.
From 12 Carryovers to First Class Honours
Ms Petite shared her journey on X, explaining that her final year of studying chemistry was marked by severe academic setbacks that left her traumatised. Rather than giving up, she used her disappointment as motivation to pursue a long-held dream of studying nursing.
She wrote: "Was traumatised by 12 carryovers in the final year of my 1st degree (chemistry). Ended up with a 3rd class and I turned my trauma into energy to pursue a 2nd degree in Nursing (which I had wanted so long). I ended up with a First class honours."
