A Ghanaian woman has made a desperate public appeal to locate her husband, who she says blocked her on all communication channels and disappeared after a disagreement about meeting his family.

Abiba Ibrahim took to Facebook on Thursday, December 18, to share her distressing story and ask the online community for assistance. She is searching for her husband, Luqman Jajah, who has been missing for several weeks.
According to her post, the conflict began when Abiba expressed her desire to finally meet her husband's family members. This request led to a "little misunderstanding," after which Luqman blocked her phone number and vanished without a trace.
A Marriage Conducted in Absentia
Abiba revealed unique details about their union. She explained that the couple got married in absentia while she was working outside Ghana. Following the marriage, Luqman requested that she return to Ghana to live with him, a request she agreed to.
Upon her return, he rented an apartment for her in the Ablekuma Canada area of Accra. She stated that Luqman had even asked her to inform her own family so that his family could come and celebrate with them.
Despite these plans, Abiba claims she has never met any of his relatives. The upcoming Ramadan period would have marked their one-year wedding anniversary.
A Call for Closure
In her emotional appeal, Abiba directly addressed her missing husband. "Guys, please help me find him. His name is Luqman Jajah. If he doesn't want the marriage, he should come and divorce me and get out," she wrote.
The story took a dramatic turn in the comments section of her post. A user named Nana Sei made a startling claim, alleging that Luqman Jajah is already married to a Nigerian woman and has children with her. The commenter further stated that Luqman lives in another part of Accra and is the brother of a deputy minister of tourism and an MP.
Nana Sei advised Abiba, "If your story is true just go and see the dept. Minister of tourism." This allegation adds a complex layer to Abiba's search, raising serious questions about the circumstances of her marriage.
The public appeal highlights a painful personal crisis, blending issues of matrimonial honesty, family integration, and the lengths individuals go to seek resolution when traditional channels fail.
