Family appeals for financial assistance after daughter's suicide

The parents of 20-year-old Favour Agbro, who died by suicide after allegedly being raped by popular content creator Odogwu Asaaba, have publicly appealed for financial assistance. In a video shared by their pro bono lawyer, Awele Ideal, the mother revealed that the family still owes N7 million to the hospital where Favour died. She urged the public to help with the bill and to facilitate the police investigation.

Father claims police requested a vehicle for investigation

The father of the deceased also spoke in the video, claiming that the police asked him to provide a vehicle to transport them to Benin City. There, they plan to visit one of the hospitals where Favour was taken after consuming a harmful substance that led to her death. He said, "Please, we need you people's help. Right now, they have taken our statement, and they are saying that I should provide them with a vehicle that they are going to use to go to Benin to the various hospitals that we went to before she gave up. I don't have anything at hand now. I need you people's help. Please."
