The Adamawa State Police Command has announced the arrest of two individuals suspected of involvement in a kidnapping case and issuing threats within the Sarau Belel community.
Swift Police Action Following Complaint
According to the command's spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the arrest was triggered by a formal complaint lodged on Friday, December 26, 2025. The complainant, Mr. Emmanuel Daniel, a resident of Sagal Village in Sarau Belel, reported to the police that he had been threatened with kidnapping by two persons.
Nguroje stated that the suspects allegedly went further, claiming responsibility for the earlier disappearance of Emmanuel's younger brother, Mr. Joshua Daniel, who had been missing since November 2024.
