Some of Nigeria's finest badminton talents have already begun arriving in Enugu for the three-day championship that promises thrilling displays of skill and sportsmanship.

The tournament will run from Thursday, November 20 to Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Indoor Gymnasium Sports Hall within Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. This significant sporting event is organized by Southeast Badminton Outreach in collaboration with the Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN) and the Enugu State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.
The championship receives crucial support from the Bet9ja Foundation as the official power sponsor. Participants from all five southeastern states - Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo - will compete across multiple categories including male, female, and veteran divisions.

This year's championship carries additional significance as it will serve as a crucial preparatory platform for athletes ahead of the upcoming National Sports Festival, which Enugu State is also scheduled to host.
