Véron Mosengo-Omba has officially stepped down from his role as the General Secretary of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). In a press release dated Sunday, March 29, 2026, issued from Cairo, Egypt, Mosengo-Omba announced his immediate resignation, citing a desire to focus on personal projects after a career spanning more than three decades.
