Mourinho Named Real Madrid Coach Until 2029

Real Madrid have officially confirmed the return of Jose Mourinho as their head coach, with the Portuguese manager signing a contract that will keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2029. The announcement comes after the departure of Alvaro Arbeloa, who had been in charge of the first team.

The 63-year-old tactician returns to Real Madrid after a single season with Benfica in Portugal. The Spanish club activated a €15 million release clause in his contract with the Portuguese side, allowing him to make the move back to Madrid. Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, during which he secured a LaLiga title, a Copa del Rey, and a Supercopa de España, in addition to reaching three consecutive Champions League semifinals.
