EveryGirl 3.0: Digital Skills Programme for Young Women Opens

KSH Foundation has opened applications for the third edition of its Every Girl programme, a capacity-building initiative that equips young women and girls in underserved communities with digital skills and exposure to opportunities in the digital economy.

Programme Details

The programme, tagged ‘EveryGirl 3.0,’ combines digital literacy training, artificial intelligence (AI) for learning, intellectual development, and mentorship, alongside modules on monetisation and emerging technology skills.

According to the foundation, this year’s edition is themed ‘Building Digital Power’, reflecting what it described as a strengthened focus on practical skills, critical thinking, communication, and positioning participants for opportunities in a growing digital economy.

Project Lead Comments

Project Lead of KSH Foundation, Augustina Okpechi, said the programme is structured to retain its earlier model, which includes a two-week virtual learning phase, a five-day physical immersion, and 90 days of group mentorship.

Okpechi added that the curriculum has been expanded to include training in artificial intelligence tools for learning, alongside digital literacy and monetisation.

She said a new component introduced in this edition is an introduction to health technology, with emphasis on FemTech during the immersion phase.

She added that as innovation in women’s health continues to expand, the module is intended to expose participants to emerging opportunities within the sector.

Immersion Experiences

Okpechi said the immersion phase would also include visits to organisations, cultural excursions, and interactive learning environments.

“Beyond coursework, the immersion includes curated exposure experiences such as visits to organisations, cultural excursions, and interactive learning environments. These experiences are intentionally designed to broaden participants’ perspectives, build confidence, and introduce them to new opportunities,” she said.

Previous Impact and Applications

The foundation said previous editions of the programme had trained hundreds of young women through mentorship and access to digital learning tools.

Applications for EveryGirl 3.0 are now open to eligible participants via the programme’s application portal.

KSH Foundation, a non-profit organisation, said it is also seeking partnerships with organisations and industry professionals to support the programme through mentorship, curriculum development and immersion activities.
