The Nigerian creative industry is buzzing with excitement as the Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria (AMAN) prepares to roll out the drums for its highly anticipated 30th-anniversary celebration and awards ceremony.
A Double Celebration for a Landmark Anniversary
The prestigious event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2025, starting from 6:00 pm. It will be held at the Grand Ballroom of the Eko Hotel & Suites on Victoria Island, Lagos. This year's edition is uniquely significant as it combines the association's pearl anniversary with the second instalment of the AMAN Awards, an event designed to recognize, appreciate, and reward hard work and excellence within creative industries in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.
Speaking passionately ahead of the event, the President of AMAN, Collins Ifeanyi Onwuneme Ajereh Enebeli, who is popularly known as Mavin Grandpa Worldwide (MGW), emphasized the importance of this milestone. "An association that has lasted through three decades in Nigeria is not a baby," Enebeli stated. "This is why the association is rolling out the drums to celebrate its 30th anniversary of existence in grand style. We have surprises for our guests."
An Upgraded Venue and Expanded Awards
Enebeli, who is also the father of award-winning music producer Don Jazzy, highlighted the event's growth as a testament to AMAN's seriousness. He pointed out that while the first edition of the AMAN Awards was held at the Fantasia Hall within the same Eko Hotels & Suites complex in 2023, the 2025 event has been upgraded to the more spacious and prestigious Grand Ballroom.
