Rapper Lil Wayne, 43, has confirmed that he and social media influencer Madi Cannon, 23, have ended their relationship. The announcement came during his '20 Years of Carter Classics' tour, where he addressed fans about the split and other issues surrounding the tour.
Breakup Confirmed on Tour
In a video shared online, Wayne spoke about speculation regarding his relationship and his absence from the opening show in Maine. He denied reports that he and Cannon were engaged, stating they had 'a beautiful thing going' but decided to part ways because he did not want to be 'such a burden on such an amazing person.'
Engagement Rumors Addressed
Rumors of an engagement between the pair had circulated since May 2026, but the rapper clarified that they were never engaged. Wayne also explained that he missed the opening date of his tour due to severe migraines and concerns over the risk of seizures, which prevented him from performing.
Tour Resumes Amid Fan Frustration
Although he has since resumed the tour, some fans have expressed frustration after he arrived late for a concert in New Hampshire. His canceled Maine performance has been rescheduled for July 28, while his next scheduled show is set to take place in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 16.
