The family of the late Mrs. Caroline Lefishetu Musa has officially established the Caroline Lefishetu Musa Foundation (CLM Foundation), a non-profit organization with a clear mission to enhance educational opportunities and strengthen communities across Nigeria.
A Legacy of Learning and Service
The foundation was formally introduced during a well-attended ceremony held recently in Lagos. The event gathered family members, close friends, educators, community leaders, and development partners, all united in their commitment to continue Mrs. Musa's lifelong dedication to learning and community service.
The launch featured moving tributes, a reflective visual presentation showcasing her life's work, and an engaging panel discussion. These segments beautifully highlighted the core values that defined Mrs. Musa: strong faith, discipline, resilience, pursuit of excellence, generosity, and a profound love for people.
Continuing a Mother's Mission
Speaking at the event, members of the Musa family described the CLM Foundation as the natural continuation of their mother's life's work. They emphasized her unwavering belief that no child should ever be deprived of the chance to learn, develop, and achieve success simply because of their personal circumstances or background.
Patrick Ozoya Musa, the Chairman of the CLM Foundation Board of Trustees, paid a heartfelt tribute to his mother's steadfast commitment to education and uplifting communities. He serves as the Managing Director of Bonded Energy Power.
The foundation's board includes other prominent family members such as Mr. Theophilus Musa, Managing Director of Bralewood Investments; Dr. Evelyn Atisele (Nee Musa), Schools Programs Processor at Saudi Aramco; and Mr. Roland Musa, Director of Carfel Schools.
